I love Erlend Oye’s voice, whether he’s singing on his own or with Kings of Convenience or with his latest project, the Whitest Boy Alive. I just found this song, from WBT’s 2009 album. It samples Daft Punk’s “Harder Better Faster Stronger” (which I didn’t know is also a sample from an Edwin Birdsong track) and makes it chiller, hipper, more…Scandinavian. Yeah. Go Vikings.
