“Ambling Alp” by Yeasayer.
I was volunteering at the Guggenheim last weekend for “It Came from Brooklyn,” an event hosted by the museum to spotlight Brooklyn artists, writers, comedians and noticed the headlining group Yeasayer had quite a diverse following - young teenagers, sixty-year-old Upper East Side women, and even a client from work.
After catching their performance, complete with 3-D glasses and light performance, I understood why the group had such a good turnout for a Friday night in the UES.
Similar to Animal Collective but more pop.
